Driving Directions

We are located in the heart of Pittsfield at 78 North Street, between School Street and Fenn Street. Coming from the south we are just past the circle across from Deidre's Dress Shop and On a Roll Cafe (Central Block). Coming from the North, we will be on the opposite side of the street, so you can go around the circle or turn left onto Fenn Street and find parking on Allen Street or in the public parking lot across from the Highland Restaurant.

Parking

We realize parking is difficult but there is plenty of it if you know where to look. There of course is street parking if you are fortunate enough but there is a large parking lot on Fenn St. across from the Highland Restaurant where the MYCOM bank is located. This is mostly a public lot and it is a nice short walk up. There is also limited parking on Allen Street and a small lot across the street behind Central Block. A new parking lot across the street is being made as we speak and will be available by years end.

The story behind the Navigation

The navigation is actually a picture of books (pictured below). with a little graphic editing, and artistic touches, I created the navigation you see on the left of the page.

As a side note, I used open source software for all of my graphics editing.

Also, take a look at the TSAR book in the photo and compare it's place in the navigation.

To achieve this effect, I removed the text from all the books, to the best of my ability. After that, I moved around Spine elements, such as the "Events" book has the cirle logo pushed left, and the "Photos" book has the image pushed slightly right.

I also paid attention to the perspective of the text I placed on the books, this gives the depth effect and overall better image quality.
