Local pilot Nina Anderson was interviewd by the Berkshire Eagle for an article coming out sometime late July. Her new book, Flying Above the Glass Ceiling tells the stories of the first women to fly commercially in the 1970s when being a woman was a death sentence for being hired. The excuses companies gave to keep them from being hired are very entertaining. The inspirational stories can give hope to anyone who is seeking to advance their career but finds challenges that have to be overcome. Nina lives in Sheffield and can be contacted at safe@bcn.net
